Legislative Fight Begins On Right-To-Carry

The nine-year effort to pass Right-to-Carry in Nebraska returned to the legislature May 6. Lawmakers began debate on LB454 brought by Sen. Jeanne Combs of Friend. She and other supporters of the idea say it is their constitutional right to carry a firearm and that doing so will help thwart crime.
