For two hours Saturday, about 70 men and women wearing name tags and holstered handguns walked the streets of the historic Harbour Town district of Vermilion to dramatize their support for legislation allowing Ohioans to obtain concealed-weapons permits. Gov. Bob Taft has promised to veto the bill, which passed in both houses of the legislature. Taft said he would be willing to sign the bill if the names of all concealed-carry permit holders could be made public.
