The state Senate approved a revised version of a bill Tuesday that would allow people who meet certain requirements to carry concealed weapons except to youth sports games, taverns and a host of other exempted places. Gov. Jim Doyle reiterated his opposition to the legislation, which he said was riddled with problems and would do nothing to improve safety in Wisconsin.
