On Tuesday, January 13th, the Assembly Committee on Public Safety will reconsider Assembly Bill 1092, legislation that extends the validity period of Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) licenses, for a vote only; no public testimony will be taken. Please use the Take Action button below to contact members of the Committee and urge them to SUPPORT AB 1092.
Assembly Bill 1092 extends the length of concealed carry licenses by increasing the license term from two to three years, with a further extension to four years for licenses issued at a later date. The bill previously failed in committee in April 2025 and is now scheduled for reconsideration.
