On Wednesday, January 23, the House State Affairs Committee unanimously approved HB 1129, a bill that seeks to establish reciprocal agreements that would allow individuals with valid Right to Carry permits issued by other states to lawfully carry a firearm concealed in South Dakota, and vice versa. The attorney general would determine the states that qualify. HB 1129 now moves to the House floor for consideration.
