A New Fairfield, Conn., couple was startled late one Thursday evening when two armed men rushed them as they were returning from an evening out. The men forced their way into the couple's home, and a struggle ensued until the homeowner grabbed a gun and fired several shots. The two suspects quickly exited the home and took off in a Chevy Blazer, which was later involved in an accident. The suspects then fled on foot. State troopers searched the area with police dogs, but were unable to locate the men.
