After previous threats from his son-in-law, Guy Martin was
ready when the heavily armed off-duty policeman smashed his way into
Martin's New Britain, Conn., home. After the intruder pointed a
shotgun at and struggled with Martin's son, Martin killed him with a
single shot to the head.
