When a 32-year-old man broke into her home, beat her with a
wrench, and threatened to rape her, a Nashville, Tenn., woman pulled
a handgun from under her bed and fired four shots at her attacker.
Treated for wounds at a local hospital, he faces three felony
charges, police said.
