Fed up with the rash of burglaries plaguing his Santa Cruz,
Calif., dialysis center, Frank Lacy decided to camp out in a front
office. Lacy was dozing when he heard a noise coming from the back
office. Armed with a handgun, he investigated and found a man
crouching beside the filing cabinet that previously had been
burglarized. Lacy held the burglar until police arrived.
