Frank Hutchinson, 69, hid in the back room of his Unity,
N.H., house as a young burglar, who police later said was
hallucinating on drugs, broke through the front door. But when the
housebreaker neared his hiding place, Hutchinson fired his .38
pistol, wounding the intruder in the abdomen.
