Texas: Firearm Privacy Protections Heard in Committee

Today, the Senate Health and Human Services Commmittee heard SB 1524, providing privacy protections for foster parents that own firearms. SB 1524 will soon be eligible for a vote in committee. It is critical that you get involved today by clicking the TAKE ACTION button to contact members of the committee and urge them to supporter SB 1524!

Senate Bill 1524 prohibits child placement and state agencies from requiring foster parents to provide a list of the specific types of firearms that are kept in the home and ensures that information regarding the presence of firearms in the home remains confidential.
