Idaho: Governor Little Signs Permitless Carry Expansion Legislation into Law

On Wednesday, Governor Brad Little signed important self-defense legislation, House Bill 516.  This permitless carry expansion legislation was sent to the Governor’s desk prior to the Legislature adjourning last week.

House Bill 516 allows any United States citizen over the age of 18 to lawfully carry a concealed firearm for self-defense within city limits without a permit.  This legislation expands Idaho’s permitless carry law to allow nonresidents to exercise the same carry options that Idaho residents currently enjoy.

Thank you to Governor Brad Little and those Senators and Representatives that voted in support of this important self-defense legislation.
