Arkansas: Concealed Carry Fee Reduction Legislation on the Move in Both Chambers

Today, important self-defense legislation, House Bill 1036, was passed out of the House Judiciary Committee and could receive a floor vote as early as next week. Its companion bill, Senate Bill 17, could be scheduled for a hearing in the Senate City, County and Local Affairs Committee around the same time. Please contact your Representative as well as senate committee members and strongly urge them to SUPPORT these important measures.

House Bill 1036/Senate Bill 17, sponsored by Rep. Jim Dotson and Sen. Trent Garner respectively, will reduce the fee for a license to carry a concealed handgun and reduce the financial burden to exercise your constitutional right self-defense.
