On Thursday, November 2nd, the Southbury Board of Selectmen will be holding a public meeting to consider passing an ordinance to ban the possession of firearms on all town properties. Please contact the selectmen and urge them to OPPOSE this ordinance! Click the “Take Action” button below to contact the selectmen.
The Southbury Democratic Town Committee requested the Board of Selectmen to adopt this ordinance to turn town property into “gun-free zones.” The Board added this to the agenda for their October 19th meeting. Due to large turnout by Second Amendment supporters, the meeting was rescheduled for November 2nd.
With the Board of Selectmen election coming up on November 7th, be sure to keep in mind your Second Amendment rights.
