A woman warded off a man with a gun who entered her house early this morning in the 500 block of South Rufe Taylor Road, sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Ricker said in a report.
The victim told deputies that about 12:20 a.m. this morning, a man she did not know entered her house through an open garage door.
“While she was inside the home the (man) grabbed her phone and stated she was not going to call anyone,” the report said,
The victim told deputies she went upstairs, got a gun and confronted the man, who then left.
No injuries were reported.
Deputies searched the house and nearby area and did not find anyone.
Nothing was taken from the house, the report said.
The suspect is described as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds and wearing blue jeans and a white or light blue shirt.
