Tougher restrictions will be placed on hundreds of thousands of lever-action shotguns across Australia after state and territory leaders yesterday agreed to tighten gun laws.
A public campaign against the lever-action seven-shot Adler shotgun forced authorities to reclassify the weapon — meaning a temporary import ban will soon be lifted.
