Missouri: Your Action Needed to Urge Legislators to Support Important Pro-Gun Bills!

Time is crucial.  It is more important than ever that you click the “Take Action” button below to contact your state legislators in support of Senate Bill 656 and House Bill 1468!

Senate Bill 656, sponsored by state Senator Brian Munzlinger (R-18), and House Bill 1468, sponsored by state Representative Eric Burlison (R-133), would both recognize a law-abiding adult’s inherent Right to Keep and Bear Arms for self-defense in the manner he or she chooses.  SB 656 and HB 1468 recognize that self-defense situations are difficult, if not impossible, to anticipate.  Accordingly, a law-abiding adult’s right to defend himself or herself in such situations should not be conditioned by government-mandated time delays and taxes.  Missourians should not be penalized for the carry method they feel most comfortable utilizing.

Out-of-state billionaire and former New York City mayor, Michael Bloomberg, has once-again launched a misinformation campaign aimed at undermining the rights of law-abiding Missourians! Bloomberg-funded gun control groups are misrepresenting facts and statistics in an attempt to persuade your elected officials to oppose these constitutional carry bills.  Don’t let Bloomberg bring his big-city style gun-control to Missouri! Please click the “Take Action” button above to contact your state legislators in support of SB 656 and HB 1468!

Additionally, it is critical that you contact your state legislators in support of the Stand Your Ground amendments to Senate Bill 663, sponsored by state Senator Bob Dixon (R-30), and House Bill 2332, sponsored by state Representative Kevin Corlew (R-14).

These Stand Your Ground amendments would expand Missouri’s current Stand your Ground laws and provide that a person does not have a duty to retreat from any place that such person has a legal right to be.

Once again, please click the “Take Action” button to contact your state legislators in support of the constitutional carry bills, SB 656 and HB 1468 and in support of the Stand Your Ground amendments to SB 663 and HB 2332!
