This week, the House of Delegates is likely to consider House Bill 4145, important legislation that would allow a law-abiding individual to lawfully carry a concealed handgun without a permit, for its final vote. Please contact your Delegate and respectfully urge him or her to support HB 4145.
Last week, the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee considered and issued a do pass recommendation for House Bill 4170, important hunting legislation which would repeal the state’s outdated ban on Sunday hunting. Following a favorable amendment, HB 4170 would open West Virginia’s public and private lands to Sunday hunting. HB 4145 has been transmitted to the House Judiciary Committee for further consideration. Please contact members of the House Judiciary Committee and respectfully urge him or her to support this important, and overdue, Sunday Hunting legislation.
