Five years ago, NRA-backed legislation changing Iowa from a “May-Issue” state to a “Shall-Issue” state was signed into law, significantly enhancing the right-to-carry for law-abiding Iowans. That law contained a five year renewal requirement, which means that thousands of permits are currently up for renewal. The Iowa Firearms Coalition (IFC), an NRA state-affiliated organization, is committed to ensuring that all Iowans are able to easily renew their permits. To help them do this, the IFC will be holding a recertification event on October 10th at Big Springs Gun Range in Searsboro. Event details are below:
