Among other pro-hunting provisions, HB 640 would repeal a 145 year old Sunday hunting ban that disregards private property rights and bans hunters from using firearms while hunting on privately owned land on Sundays. In essence, restrictions on Sunday hunting tacitly endorse the view of animal “rights” extremists that there is something wrong with hunting.
