In August 2014, Missourians overwhelmingly voted to adopt Constitutional Amendment 5, an amendment that strengthened the Right to Keep and Bear Arms in The Show-Me State. All along the way, Michael Bloomberg continually funded multiple lawsuits by anti-gun St. Louis Chief of Police Sam Dotson and others. These lawsuits sought to prevent citizens from voting on the Amendment and were rejected by the courts, including the Missouri Supreme Court. Now, Bloomberg continues to inject his limitless resources into any lawsuit he thinks has the chance of damaging Missourians’ Fundamental Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
Tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., the Missouri Supreme Court will hear the latest well funded lawsuit by Sam Dotson. Pro-gun Amendment 5 Sponsor, state Senator Kurt Schaefer, will argue the case on behalf of gun owners. To listen to his remarks in the courtroom during the case click here.
