Arizona: Cleanup Event at Table Mesa Recreation Area

We need your help!

The NRA is sponsoring a cleanup event at Table Mesa Recreation Area. Help keep target shooting areas open for continued use.

Every Volunteer Counts!

Please bring water, work gloves, hat, sunscreen, trash pinchers, buckets and wear long pants and sturdy shoes.  4WD and OHV vehicles are useful.

When:    Sunday, March 1st, 2015

Time:     9:00am – 2:00 pm (check in starts at 8:00 am)

              Lunch will be provided!

Where:   Table Mesa Recreation Area

RSVP:     [email protected] or sign up online http://bit.ly/1FBdBF7

Directions: The Table Mesa Recreation Area is located off I-17 and Table Mesa Road.  Head west on Table Mesa Road, then north on the frontage road.  Follow signs posted at the end of the pavement. Volunteers will also be on site providing more information and directions.

Location Map:http://goo.gl/maps/XyVhl

Additional Information:

The area is very popular with recreational target shooters and others because of its close proximity to the metropolitan Phoenix area.  Unfortunately, this area is also prone to illegal dumping, littering, and debris that needs to be cleaned up.

The NRA encourages its members who depend on Federal public lands in Arizona for target shooting and hunting to volunteer their time for this event.  If you can volunteer, please wear a NRA hat, t-shirt or jacket to let other sponsors and volunteers know that you are NRA!

The NRA is sponsoring this event along with:

Bureau of Land Management | Arizona Game and Fish Department | Arizona Firearms

Arizona Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition | Barlow Adventures | Boone and Crockett Club

Congressional Sportsman's Foundation | Discount Tires

National Shooting Sports Foundation | Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation | Safari Club International
