D.C. is in the cross hairs of a Second Amendment fight. The city is the only place in the country that has a complete ban on carrying guns outside the home. Last month, U.S. District Court Judge Frederick Scullin ruled in the Palmer case that the law was unconstitutional and D.C. had to allow people to carry guns.
In an exclusive interview, D.C. City Council Chairman Phil Mendelson told FOX 5 on Thursday that he will appeal the gun carry ruling, making the information public for the first time.
