The Kansas attorney general's office delved into planning Wednesday for new signage that would be affixed to building entrances in accordance with revised state law on open and concealed handguns.
Attorney General Derek Schmidt called together a group of lawyers from his office and representatives of municipal government; higher education institutions; library, hospital and business groups; and pro-gun lobbyists in Topeka to sort through intricacies of statute set to take effect July 1.
