Kentucky: Concealed Carry Reform Bill to be Heard in Senate Committee Tomorrow

Monday, February 10, 2014

Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., Senate Bill 60 is scheduled to be heard in the state Senate Licensing, Occupations and Administrative Regulations Committee in Annex Room 169.  Please call 800-372-7181 to register your SUPPORT for SB 60.

SB 60, sponsored by state Senator John Schickel (R-11), would make changes to the concealed carry permitting process by allowing instructors to issue training certificates to students who passed an accredited concealed carry course.  This bill would also allow for concealed carry permit holders to carry while in businesses whose primary profits are derived from the sale of alcoholic beverages.
