Contact your state Representative TODAY in support of Assembly Bill 368
Today, the Wisconsin Assembly Natural Resources and Sporting Heritage Committee unanimously approved Assembly Bill 368. AB 368, sponsored by state Representative John Spiros (R-86), would align Wisconsin with forty other states that already allow their residents to purchase rifles and shotguns in non-contiguous states, provided that the purchase or transfer complies with state and federal law. Currently, Wisconsin residents can only purchase long guns in bordering states. AB 368 would repeal this arbitrary restriction and allow residents the freedom to purchase long guns in states beyond their immediate borders. AB 368 is now eligible for final consideration by the full Assembly and a vote could be held as early as next week. Please contact your state Representative today and urge him or her to support AB 368.
