Sen. Joe Manchin says passing gun control reform will only get more difficult next year

A prominent Democrat at the center of the proposed gun control legislation that failed earlier this year doesn’t think passing a similar deal will be any easier in 2014.

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, who helped broker the gun control bill that ultimately failed in the Senate, said Sunday that rounding up the votes needed to pass the bill next year would be “difficult.”
