Today, the California Senate concurred with Assembly amendments to Senate Bill 610 by a 27 to 9 vote. The NRA-backed pro-gun bill will now go to the Governor. The roll call vote has not been listed at this time, but we will post this information as soon as it is available so you can see how your state Senator voted. SB 610 passed in the Assembly yesterday by a 52 to 13 vote.
SB 640 would standardize the application process for a permit to carry a concealed handgun and would delete the requirement that a CCW applicant obtain liability insurance as a condition of obtaining a CCW permit.
Please CALL and E-MAIL Governor Jerry Brown and respectfully urge him to SUPPORT SB 610.
