Wisconsin: De Pere aims to ban firearms in government buildings

City officials plan to ban guns in government buildings in response to a state law that will allow citizens to carry concealed weapons. The City Council will take up an ordinance Tuesday that prohibits firearms at City Hall, firehouses, city pools, the community center, well and pump stations and the Municipal Service Center.
