Georgia: Jackson County Commissioners Set to Hear Discharge Ban Tonight!

Contact the Jackson County Commissioners Immediately 

Tonight, the Jackson County Board of Commissioners will meet to review a proposed ordinance that would ban the discharge of any firearm on personal property less than ten acres in size, except in defense of life or property.  This meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room of the Jackson County Courthouse located at 5000 Jackson Parkway in Jefferson.

Please attend tonight’s meeting and respectfully urge the Board of Commissioners to OPPOSE the banning of firearm discharge on suitable tracts of private property.  If you are unable to attend, please contact the Commissioners before 6 p.m.  The Board of Commissioners can be contacted by calling (706) 367-6312 AND by sending an e-mail message to the addresses listed below.
