The pro-gun bills listed below will be voted on in the near future and your state Senator and Representative need to hear from you today.  Please call and e-mail them expressing your support for these important bills to help advance Second Amendment rights for Maine gun owners and sportsmen. Contact information for your state Senator and Representative, or help identifying you state Senator and Representative, can be found here.

 

LD 35, introduced by state Representative Richard Cebra (R-Naples), would prohibit an employer from banning an employee with a valid concealed firearms permit from keeping a firearm in the employee's vehicle as long as the vehicle is locked and the firearm is not visible.

 

LD 932, introduced by state Representative Dale Crafts (R-Lisbon), would allow a person with a valid concealed carry permit to carry a concealed firearm in the state House.

 

LD 1347, introduced by state Representative Cebra, would eliminate the prohibition on concealed carry permit holders carrying a concealed firearm in state parks and historic sites, premises licensed for the consumption of alcohol, state property under the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Safety and the Legislative Council.
