Special NRA-ILA Seminar Planned For Charlotte!

Friday, April 16, 2010

In addition to the FREE Grassroots Workshop being held in conjunction with this year’s Annual Meetings, the NRA-ILA Grassroots Division is holding a FREE “In Their Own Words” Special Seminar.

This increasingly popular session will feature some of NRA-ILA’s top activists from around the country who will discuss their personal experiences promoting our Second Amendment rights, and provide tips on becoming a better activist in your community!  NRA-ILA Grassroots Division Director Glen Caroline will moderate the seminar.  Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of our panelists, and network with fellow attendees.  This seminar is FREE and no registration is required!

Our featured 2010 panelists are:

JOSEPH P. DeBERGALIS, JR.:  Joe DeBergalis currently serves on the NRA Board of Directors, and is the NRA-ILA Election Volunteer Coordinator (EVC) for seven congressional districts in New York. He was the recipient of the 2005 NRA-ILA “Jay M. Littlefield Volunteer of the Year” award and was the inaugural inductee to the NRA-ILA EVC “Hall of Fame.”

CHRISTIE CAYWOOD:  Christie Caywood is a communications professional and NRA-ILA EVC in the Philadelphia suburbs. She has been active in media for 10 years - trying out new technologies and organizing real world events for Second Amendment advocates in these burgeoning communities.

THOMAS “CHIP” WILLIAMS:  Thomas “Chip” Williams is currently the NRA-ILA EVC for the 4th Congressional District of North Carolina. Chip is an avid turkey and dove hunter and very active in the Durham Pistol and Rifle Club, where he serves as Secretary and on the Board of Directors.

ROBERT GRIESER:  Robert Grieser is the NRA-ILA EVC for Congressional District 5 in New Jersey, where he has been active in organizing teams on the grassroots level to support pro-second amendment candidates for office, as well as get out the vote in local, state and federal elections.  As an NRA-ILA EVC since 2004, he has received the NRA-ILA Jay M Littlefield Award in 2007, and the NRA-ILA EVC “Hall of Fame” Award in 2009. He also serves as a Committee Member of the North Jersey Friends of NRA.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear these present-day patriots talk about their personal experiences working in the pro-gun rights grassroots movement!
