On Monday, March 22, Senate Bill 411 received a “Favorable Report with Amendments” from the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee. It will be taken up on Second Reading before the full Senate, tomorrow, March 23.
SB411, sponsored by State Senator Mac Middleton (D-28), would provide immunity from damages when force, including deadly force, is reasonable under the circumstances to repel an attack.
While the amendments are not yet available, NRA-ILA will notify you as soon as they are received from the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee.
