Restaurant Carry Takes a Big Step Forward in the Old Dominion!

Please Contact Your State Senator Today! 


On Friday, February 12, the Virginia House of Delegates voted 67 to 27 to pass House Bill 505.  The Senate version of the bill, Senate Bill 334, will be up for consideration in the Senate early next week.

HB505, sponsored by Delegate Todd Gilbert (R-15), would allow a concealed carry permit holder to carry his or her firearm concealed into a restaurant, provided he or she does not consume any alcohol.  SB334 does the same. 

Passage of HB505/SB334 would bring Virginia into line with 40 states that allow some form of concealed carry into restaurants that serve alcohol.
