Pennsylvania: Radnor Township to Consider “Lost or Stolen” Ordinance on Monday, February 22!

Friday, February 12, 2010

Please Stand Up and Make Your Voice Heard!

On Monday, February 22, the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners will consider an ordinance that would require gun-owners to report lost or stolen firearms within 72-hours or face a fine up to $1,000 and/or up to 90 days in jail.

This proposal not only violates Pennsylvania’s state preemption laws, but also potentially turns law-abiding gun owners -- who have already been victimized by theft -- into criminals.

The next meeting of the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners is scheduled for Monday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m.  It will be held at the Township Municipal Building located at 301 Iven Avenue in Wayne.  Please make plans to attend this hearing and show your support for the Second Amendment.

Also, please contact the members of the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners TODAY and respectfully voice your opposition to this unwarranted, unjust and illegal proposal.  Contact information can be found below.
