Please Contact the Senate Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Committee Today!
Thanks to all of the emails and phone calls from NRA members, Senate President John Schiffer (R-22), has assigned House Bill 137 (Quarberg, R-28), the no-duty-to-retreat measure, to the Senate Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Committee for a hearing. This critical self-defense bill has faced opposition from county prosecutors--particularly the Natrona County (Casper) Attorney, and will continue to face this opposition until it is passed by the full Senate.
It is vital that the pro-gun community continue to support House Bill 137 by contacting the members of the Senate Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Committee listed below and urge them to vote YES to HB137. No hearing date has been set so please continue checking your emails and www.NRAILA.org for updates on this issue.
Also, please thank Senate President John Schiffer for his leadership on this important issue at [email protected].
