New Gun Show Legislation Introduced in New Jersey

Friday, February 1, 2008

As expected, anti-gun Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) introduced his “gun show” legislation this week.

Appearing at a news conference on Wednesday, Lautenberg, along with co-sponsor and fellow Democrat Jack Reed (D-RI), and Paul Helmke of the Brady Campaign, introduced S. 2577—legislation that would regulate gun shows out of business.

Of course, we will continue to actively monitor the future progress (or lack thereof) of the bill and will apprise you of any developments.
