The Brady Center must have cringed yesterday when a D.C. judge upheld Congress’ Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) by rejecting a lawsuit brought by families of nine shooting victims against 29 gun manufacturers. The judge confirmed the legality of the PLCAA, a law which shields gun producers from potentially bankrupting lawsuits.
