Missouri Legislature Defending the Second Amendment!

Please Contact Your State Senator Today!

Monday, February 19, was a very good day for Missouri's law-abiding firearm owners.

By a vote of 143-4, the State House of Representatives resoundingly approved Castle Doctrine legislation, House Bill 189, sponsored by State Representative Kenny Jones (R-117).

 

This critically important self-defense measure now moves to the Missouri Senate for consideration.  

Also on Monday, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed two NRA-backed bills, Senate Bill 62, the Senate version of the Castle Doctrine sponsored by State Senators Jack Goodman (R-29) and Chuck Purgason (R-33), as well as Senate Bill 257, the "Missouri Disaster Recovery Protection Act" sponsored by State Senator Kevin Enlger (R-3). Senator Engler's bill will ensure that no government agency can restrict your Second Amendment rights during an emergency or disaster.
