Alan Mollohan earned an "A+" rating , the NRA-PVF’s highest rating, based on his perfect pro-gun voting record and his pro-active efforts to preserve the Second Amendment in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Congressman Mollohan was a co-sponsor of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, that President Bush signed into law last fall. This law put an end to politically motivated lawsuits against American gun makers by holding criminals responsible for the crimes that they commit. He is also a co-sponsor of the legislation to repeal the decades-old gun ban in Washington, D.C.
