The Cook County Board of Commissioners did not bring up the proposed ban on certain semi-automatic firearms at Thursday’s board meeting, so it appears pressure from the pro-gun community is being felt. This issue is far from dead, however, and NRA will continue to oppose this attack on the Second Amendment. Please continue to let your Cook County commissioner know that you object to this attempt to ban these common firearms from law-abiding citizens. The general number for the County Board is (312) 603-6398.
