Court Tosses Conviction Of Reputed Chinatown Gang Boss

A federal appeals court overturned the conviction of the reputed leader of a San Francisco Chinatown crime syndicate Thursday, saying there was insufficient evidence to support a jury's verdict that he commissioned a hit on a rival gang boss in Boston.
