Prosecutors and police in three southern Kentucky counties will take part in an expanded effort to reduce gun violence, U.S. Attorney Gregory F. Van Tatenhove announced. Under the Project Cease Fire initiative, local, state and federal police and prosecutors will share information and review criminal cases involving guns, then choose qualified cases to be prosecuted in federal court.
