Attention Nevada Members: Concealed Carry Legislation

Assembly Bill 232, NRA-backed legislation, introduced by Assembly Speaker Richard Perkins, is slated to be heard on Monday, March 28 at 9:30 a.m. before the Assembly Judiciary Committee in Carson City. AB 232 seeks to clarify Nevada`s definition of concealed carry by defining "upon the person" to mean "on the person" or "in a container carried by the person." AB 232 will also amend state law to allow for compliance with the federal Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004, which allows for retired law enforcement officers authorized under the federal law to carry a concealed firearm.

It is vital NRA members call the members of the Judiciary Committee and voice their support for this bill!
