Battle Set On Possible Use Of Hounds

Expect a real cat fight in the Oregon Legislature over a pair of House bills that would allow the use of hounds to hunt cougars in selected areas of the state. House bills 2759 and 2781 would allow a pilot program to allow the use of dogs to hunt cougars in six Oregon counties with the highest lion populations.
