A bill addressing the current backlog of concealed weapons permit renewal applications with the Kentucky State Police passed unanimously out of committee this week. HB 220 allows a permit holder to continue to carry a concealed weapon after a permit expires as long a receipt of payment for renewal is possessed along with the permit.
