It`s the opening day of Georgia`s deer season, and the hunters have returned in force. "It happens every year," said Heath, a lifelong Talbotton, Ga., resident who has clerked at numerous quick marts around Talbot County. "Business is always very good during deer season. Around 10:30 or 11 in the morning when they start coming out of the woods, I know I`ll start seeing them in here. We always look forward to it."
