NRA to Gun Owners: Catherine Hanaway is True Ally

For Missouri’s Secretary of State

Robin Carnahan is “Camouflage Candidate”

Fairfax, VA—The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) urges all NRA members and Missouri gun owners to vote for Catherine Hanaway for Missouri Secretary of State.

“This election is crucial for the Second Amendment, and Missouri gun owners have no better choice than Catherine Hanaway for Secretary of State,” said Chris W. Cox, NRA’s chief lobbyist. “We endorsed Rep. Hanaway because she’s a champion of gun owners and sportsmen, and we ask all NRA members and gun owners in Missouri to support Hanaway on Election Day.”

Catherine Hanaway fought to pass Right-to-Carry for all law-abiding Missourians. Hanaway’s strong support for individual gun ownership rights earned her NRA’s endorsement.

Hanaway’s opponent, Robin Carnahan, is trying to deceive Missouri gun owners in an election-year ploy similar to John Kerry’s. “Her campaign advertisements claim she supports the Second Amendment, but her record against freedom for Missourians tells a different story,” stated Cox. Carnahan is supported by the gun-control lobby.

“Robin Carnahan also stood in the way of Missouri’s Right-to-Carry legislation every step of the way,” continued Cox. “Gun-control groups call her a ‘dear friend’ and thank her for fighting against Prop B. Robin Carnahan does not believe in giving law-abiding Missourians the right to protect themselves and their loved ones against criminal harm. That’s why she’s the wrong choice for Missouri gun owners.

“Missouri gun owners and sportsmen need Catherine Hanaway as Missouri Secretary of State.” Chris W. Cox serves as Chairman of NRA – PVF.
