Fairfax, VA-The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to endorse Governor John Hoeven for a second term in North Dakota.
“Law-abiding gun owners in North Dakota have a true friend in John Hoeven,” said Chris W. Cox, chief lobbyist for NRA. “We are pleased to endorse Governor Hoeven for another term, because we know he will not only protect their Second Amendment rights, he’ll also improve their ability to exercise those rights.”
Governor John Hoeven is a lifelong hunter and sportsman devoted to expanding hunting access throughout the state. During his first term, Gov. Hoeven vastly increased public hunting lands to 700,000 acres, moving toward his goal of 1 million acres. He also protected gun owners’ rights by signing legislation to prevent frivolous lawsuits designed to force reputable firearms manufacturers out of business.
Because of his strong support for gun rights and America’s hunting heritage, Governor Hoeven has received an “A+” rating, the highest grade awarded by NRA-PVF.
“It’s up to gun owners to vote for freedom on November 2nd,” stated Cox. “The good people of North Dakota value their right to own firearms, and Governor John Hoeven is just the man to serve them.” Chris Cox serves as Executive Director and Chairman of NRA - PVF.
