July 1-3 is the anniversary of the turning point of the Civil War, the Battle of Gettysburg. We should take care to remember the man who was dubbed "The Hero of Gettysburg." He was Winfield Scott Hancock, born on Feb.14, 1824, near Philadelphia. And in 1881, he was elected the sixth president of the National Rifle Association.
